When is it Rape?

When we did group work in class on Wednesday, my group talked about "When is it Rape?" by Nancy Gibbs and I just wanted to expand on that a little... The thing that I like the most about this piece is the way the author presents the controversy without much bias. She lays out the topic to the reader, including differing examples and opinions, and allows him or her to interpret it in their own way. This way of writing is good because the reader can do more thinking, without as much authorial influence. It is really difficult to write from an unbiased perspective and Gibbs does this relatively successfully.
